The application is Not as great, it dont recognize French article. The accent is all over the place. I dont recommended this application, waist of money!

Poor quality! Text from picture was filled with gibberish! Very disappointed.

I am really impressed with the quality and complexity of this app. I highly recommend it!

The app cant recognize the text well. What is the solution.

I ve bought this app for the OCR function and so far the result have been really bad with maybe a 0.5 % successful recognition. Would definitely consider a refund if it was possible.

I thought this app was really useful, because I always scan documents and then need the text to be recognizable. However, trying with large numbers of pages was impossible. Besides the incredibly long time it takes to process and upload, the end result is not even I recognizable text, but a document that looks like a bunch of random dots on a page. I want my money back!

Excellent app, excellent OCR. Clean design, simple to use! The developer upgrades the app regularly...again, excellent!

And it works across a long list of languages. Im giving this app 5 stars despite its lack of a Japanese OCR engine (hope thats coming soon!) because it works so well at both image scanning and text OCR/translation and replaces a couple of other scanning apps on my iPhone/iPad. If only Prizmo could scan QR and bar codes, I could replace a few more apps!

Wow! I just bought the product and it works like a gem but when I scanned my Japanese document I realized that I had trouble. Please in the future when you sell a product make sure to tell us which languages cant be used. Other than that its a nice scanner.

Used it with IPhone 4 With its high res camera it scans very often only half of the picture and the result is as bad as the worst OCR I have ever seen. 0 stars.

Amazing recognition quality, in my opinion better than other pretty famous applications. Plenty of options to cover every professional need. Quite annoying the use of open in option instead of the direct link to common clouds as Dropbox but, anyway, with this app ive been able to drop my unconfortable mouse-scanner.

The good: OCR sort of works, translation sort of works, document organization sort of works. The UI attempts to be convenient and organized. The bad: The OCR finds figures out a little more than 90% of the text, which still leaves a lot of little errors to laboriously fix. The OCR has no ability to recognize characters with accents, which hampers scanning and translating foreign language text. Theres a host of clunky miss-features in the UI, but it tries: The default reading speed being way too fast. When you go to import a picture the app will inform you that it doesnt have permission to access photos but wont present you with the option of enabling photo access. Its remarkably easy to accidentally delete your work. Theres a lot of unintuitive behavior, for instance when translating you have to set the original language with one menu then select the language to translate it into with another (no auto language detection). The app doesnt tell you that and just dumbly doesnt work when you first try to translate something. If you translate text its apparently impossible to go back to the original and fix OCR bugs or even see the original language from before the translator mangled it. So translation is possible but extremely clunky. Its better to translate by using OCR here then copying and pasting into a good translator like google translate. Conclusion: sort of works, but very clunky. If you have ambitious plans to do a lot of OCR (and especially if you want to include translation) this isnt a solution for you.

I really like the functionality of this app. Its got best-in-class scanning functionality and even has hand-off support between devices! However, after using this app for over a year, I have yet to see creaceed add in split-screen and iCloud Drive support. I cant save .pzdoc files out to iCloud Drive or other storage providers, and then open them in place. I also cant open this app up next to other apps. I hope they add this functionality in soon. If they had this functionality, my review would be 5 stars

This app is total garbage. I downloaded it so I could convert books on my bookshelf into audiobooks. App makes so many mistakes during scanning that the audio is no longer representative of the text as it was written. Dont waste your money.

Dear Prizmo, I have a career that some would say evolves around your app, Prizmo. I work in the field and must have scan capability in order to do my job efficiently. The one thing, and I cannot imagine your team has not though about this, is there inability to use a search option to type in a word or words to find a folder that contains a specific set of scanned documens. It really slows me down when I am forced to search through my hundreds of files and scanned documents within those files that I have, all by way of using the Prizmo app and are stored within the Prizmo app itself. I have been using the app for years. I have accumulated hundreds of files within Prizmo with thousands of scanned documents. I just would like to have a way to type in there file name that I am searching for in order to not have to check each alphabeticalized file. Thank you in advance for reading & listening to my app feedback or review.
